Our History
The idea for S&S Structures was born in 1985 when Tim Seyler and his late father, Calvin, recognized a local need for specialized erection services. They had been operating a small general contracting firm in the years since Tim completed his studies at Penn State. After completing a few small metal building projects, Tim recognized the value in pre-engineered structures, and saw potential for growth in the sector. They decided to make the change, and began a new business venture.
S&S Structures was incorporated in May of 1986, and the years that followed were filled with late nights at the office and long days in the field, with Tim and Calvin driving the young company’s survival from both fronts. With time, he began to build a reputation for the young company as a valued partner on projects S&S took part on.
In 1989, Tim and Calvin joined with the SBA, now the MBCEA, in order to network and learn from other metal building contractors. Tim maintains that the lessons and advice shared from more experienced erectors were invaluable in the development of S&S’s practices.
In 1993, seeing a need to provide high-quality, well-executed metal buildings to his clients, Tim formed a relationship with Nucor Metal Buildings, a relationship that stands strong today.
The years that have followed have been filled with lessons learned and a long line of successful projects. Tim continues to lead the company with the same dedication and focus as he did over 30 years ago.

Our Mission
It is our company’s goal and responsibility to our general contractors and project owners to assemble these buildings in a manner showing our quality workmanship and with the attention necessary to ensure the owner years of maintenance-free service.
Our focus is not to become the largest steel erector in the country, but rather to maintain an excellent reputation based on service and performance. We strive to bring professionalism to every job site and our award winning safey program is a testament to that fact.
Timothy Seyler
Co-Founder & President
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Tim has developed S & S Structures into a leading innovator in the PEMB construction and erection industry.
Dylan Seyler
Vice President, Operations
Dylan represents the next generation of the company. He began at an early age helping around the shop, and from there graduated to working in the field after high school in 2004.
Denise Logan
Project Coordinator & Receptionist
Denise joined S&S in 2013 as Safety Director. She is NAM, PMA, and NEPA MAEA Certified professional administrator with 9 years of prior experience in construction administration.
Sandy Kriebel
Office Manager
Sandy joined the S&S Structures team in 1998 as the office manager. She completed her associate degree in accounting while working at S&S and later received her bachelor’s degree.
Rey Wright Martinez
Project Manager
Rey joined the S&S Structures team in 2022 as a Project Manager. He has earned certifications in Construction Project Management and Building Systems – Design and Construction.
